i got a 2000 and i don't know if i debadge will the paint be faded? i do have gold and i don't know if would be able to tell, but give me your opinion i would like to know. cause i'll be mad ****ed if it is faded, as well as many other people.

Go for it!! I did it to my 99 and the paint wasn't faded.

same here, just this spring, after a sun soaked no garage time 5 yrs.

Yea, just be gentle with it, and you won't even know you ever had badges.

No fade here on my silver GT..... and my badges were on for 3 1/2 years... mostly parked outside.

i did it to my 99 a few months ago, it was black. absolutely no sign of fading.

Yeah, I have a black 2000 too, and I just did it this past Spring... No fading at all.

2000 Red Alberta...high elevation=super strong radiation from sun=little bit faded, and car was only 2 years old when removed...2 years later can't see nothing anymore

I'd do it, the only time a problem occurs is if you have abody panel re-painted where they taped off the badges instead of removing them, and re-applying them after the panel was painted.

Regular fading can be fixed with wax for the most part.
