found the answer to my question in a thread i started, and when i went to delete it says i dont have permission to access this page.

what gives?

Done, its the new thing.

People were getting ****y about things and deleted their threads when things didn't go their way.

^^so instead we keep them open for people to possibly flame and then get locked anyway??

dude what was wrong with the question that i asked. all i was askin was for a simple explanation of why thread starters cant delete their own threads, other then "People were getting ****y about things and deleted their threads when things didn't go their way."

anyways, feel free to delete this one too

What more do you want to know?
That is why. People got snotty when their own threads didn't go exactly their way, then deleted it. That then spawned several more threads asking "why did you delete your own thread?" So, we changed it so you can't delete your own thread. Its not the end of the world.

but were not mods or admin so we have to live with it, and i dont want seths password, so theirs nothing i can do.
