What a major pain..... Even the front plugs were being blocked by some piping... Thank god I paid somebody to change the back plugs....

That is all..

Easy for me right down the center. But it's tricky to put the 2.4 twincam cover back on.

LoL.. Get a 3400 you will feel my pain... Not only is it sideways but the plugs are angled funny, blocked by everything, and hidden in the block...

LoL.. Response is peppier than before though..

96 century 3100 - pain in the ass
97 skylark 3100 - pain in the ass
97 grand am 3100 - I don't know yet, I pulled the engine, will let you know later
94 taurus 3.0 - 3 minutes 30 seconds

Would have been easier if I had a socket with the swivel built in.

The guy that helped me out had a short handled socket maybe two 1/2 at the handle and a swivel that helped out a lot without banging into everything.. ..... 10 minutes.. LoL.. This is the first time these were done so everything was stuck.. The boots held on for dear life... We had to cut one off...
