I noticed cracks all over the belt for my engine.
I was curious if anyone here could recommend a good brand of belt, if any?

Thanx.

Definatly the gatorback. Best $20 I ever spent. But go to a local store as you can get the lifetime warrenty.

Since the belts on these engines are a little bit of a pain to change I would say go for the more expensive gatorback. Autozone sells them for 24.99 for a 3100.

95GT - I said they are a little bit of a pain, because you have to remove the motor mount and jack the engine. Its not like my taurus were I slap a wrench on the tensioner turn it and slap on a belt in 3 minutes.

Thats how it is on my mustang....simple.

With the GA, its still 10-15 minutes. I did it like 3-4 times in 1 week so I got it down quick.

I'm going for the gatorback. I'm just gonna have the mechanic do it for me tomorrow morning.
I dont feel to safe doing it myself.
