I need some help. I am a relatively new boost brother and I love my car the way it it but I want more speed. For a long I didn't want to do any more mods to my car for fear of blowing it up. But since I have been reading this site for awhile I have learned otherwise. The problem is I don't know where to start. I think I want to Start with the CAI and Borla Exhaust but I am worried about the cat back exhaust not providing enough backpressure and reducing power. The thermostats look good, as well as the dhp chip. The chip looks really intrigueing. Please help.

I have all the bolt ons that you are talking about. The Borla, the CAI. I think that you will get a lot more midrange, and less low-end, with this setup than with the stock exhuast. And that is a good thing, there is too much torque as it is with the cat backs, SLP or Borla.
I put on a larger APOC 62mm TB, and that seemed to make my midrange most powerful. Whereas low-end is really the specialty of the non-TB cars.
The DHP chip is slowly coming along. And it seems that by early next year we may see it for us BB's. Dyno Tuned by AaronGTR's car. Perhaps we/I can let him borrow a pulley that day and they can emulate the needed fuel delivery too have the right mixture at 10psi.

The Borla cat-back will fatten up your mid to top end a bit. The Random Tech Downpipe/Cat on my car, actually gave me a little more bottom end and excellent mid to top end power. The way to lose power is to install an exhaust that is too big in diameter. I also have, a 60 mm TB ,'Extrude Hone' Upper Intake and a 2.5" SC pulley. I have GOBS of Power. ;) :)

So, should I put on a borla exhaust? CAI is a given but I am not soo sure about the exhaust. I know the tips look better and it sounds cooler but how will it effect me when I am beside that 5.0 liter Mustang???????? and want to win. Right now I have to get him off the start but if he gets the lead he will win, barely.
Say, we both just start off normal and then he guns it and I gun it right afterwards, will the extra mid to top range help out?????
This stupid lightning truck destroyed me because he gunned it after we started off normal and then I gunned it and started passing him and then he went into his next gear and I heard(and felt) this large roar and then he just destroyed me. My ego went down very quick. I found out that my new floor mat was rolled up under the gas petal and that I may have had a burnt sparkplug(I replaced 1 just after). What do I have to put in my car to help out the supercharger????

If it was the latest Ford Lightning, forget it, that truck is pushing 380 SC'd HP. The Borla will help your mid to top end, but it is all in your launch technique. I found out that, the better you start, the better you finish.;)

If you want speed you need a high flow exhaust because that helps your mid and top end power. That's were all the HP is at. I have the downpipe and full exhaust on my car with the SC and CAI, and it's a little sluggish from 1000-2000rpm, but from 2000rpm up it really screams. If you're doing any more than 1/4 throttle acceleration it goes well over 2000rpm anyway, and at full throttle (like when you're racing;) ) it never drops below 2500rpm. I say get the exhaust. The car won't be complete with out it.:)
