I have a bra for the winter. My area uses salt and grit in the winter and my '96 Olds bumper and hood are all torn up. I put a hood protector on just to cover all the chips on the Olds.
I didn't see any damage from the bra when I took it off the GA last spring.

Yah a bra wouldnt hurt for the winter, inspect it though, sand and crap will get under it and scuff the paint.
THere is a product out there somewhere that basically looks like really thick saran wrap to cover the front of a vechicle and peels off in the spring. Seen it in fourwheeler magazine a few years ago.
