I have the biggest problem to date with my GA. Recently, in the past couple of weeks or so I've noticed my driver's side floorboards getting damp. I can run my fingers through it and see the moisture on them. I'm not sure what can be causing this, but it's affecting both the front and the back driver's side. My Air Bag Light has also been coming on and off, not sure if that could even possibly have anything to do with it. I was hit last May, but it's been fixed forever and I just now started having this problem, so I didn't think it would be the wreck. If anyone knows anything that could help, let me know. Thanks.

i think your sunroof is leaking possibly. Did you check your drivers and passenger side fuse pannels to make sure they aren't all wet as well and corroding? Thats probably why your air bag light is on because water is getting into its circuit.

Could also be your door. GM is infamous for leeking doors. See if you can see any water coming up over the sill.

I thought about that, I installed the window regulator myself so I figured maybe I didn't seal it up too well, but the thing is it manages to do this even when it doesn't rain. I can't understand why it would get wet when it's perfectly clear outside? I checked the fuses just now, they look normal, no rust or corroding or anything.

Do you have a sunroof?

Yes, never had problems out of it though, no signs of leakage and the only damp places are on my floor, not on my seats or anywhere else.

The dealer could not figure this out took me 2 weeks to find it

Pull the piller on the driver side next time the floor is wet;

if its wet the seal in the sunroof is bad ~ or in my case the seal was not bad, the accual metal to glass seal was leaking, had to replace the whole glass.

btw there is a sunroof for sale on the forum if that is the case

The A pillar running down the windshield? Never thought of that...maybe. So the water collects in the roof and runs down the pillar? Not impossible....but sounds unlikely. Either way, thanks for the tip, I'll check it out next time I can.

Yep thats the one.. At times I would just take it off and shove a towel in the roof lol

If this is the problem, and you can't find a sunroof at first ~
Park on a hill; Found that if the water could not collect on the seal it would not leak

I had bad sunroof glass that leaked water. The water went down the pillar.
But isn't there supposed to be a drain tube inside somewhere?

try these threads, its not an uncommon problem.... and water running down the pillar is not impossible actually its quite possible. :)

ALso theres a few TSB's out for a related problem but unrelated to the sunroof problem

Thanks Kyle, I'll read through them. On a side note, it rained last night and I checked the pillar this morning before I went to work -- nada. Also, the floor wasn't wet either?? This is really starting to be strange....
