Anyone have pictures for installing any kind of gauge in thier vents? I want to hook one up in mine, but would like to know if there was any over heating problems being in the vent. Also the easiest way to wire it into the dash as well. I've been searching but have had no luck finding a thread with the information i'm looking for. so sorry if this is a re post. Thanks.

I get moisture in mine once in a while from temperature diffrences...but other than that I have had no problems. Also I just drilled a hole in the bottom of the vent plastic and ran the wires up through it.

sorry to ressurect an old thread but i recently acquired a scan gauge and was thinking of placing it in the air vent near the driver side next to the steering wheel . how hard it is to get the vents out and will the blowing air cause any type of wear or damage to the wires ? also do i need to get a set of those angle rings for the gauge to fill out the air vent or do the 2 1/6 gauges fill out the vent pretty well ?
