I want more horespower. I just bought a 2004 Grand AM GT, and I am looking for ways of adding more horsepower to it. I have looked around on the internet for some parts, but could not seem to find much for it. I looked on partforyourcar.com but also did not seem to find much. Any ideas on how i can add horespower to this car?

Personally I wired my flux capacitor in parallel with my search button and gained about 46.439 rwhp. =)

We have this place called the "PERFORMANCE" section. Might be a good place to start.

SLP Catback exhaust (http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PFYC&Product_Code=GA5004&Product_Count=6&Category_Code=GAEXH)
TOG Headers (http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PFYC&Product_Code=GA5002&Product_Count=3&Category_Code=GAEXH)
DHP Computer Program (http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PFYC&Product_Code=GA3010&Product_Count=17&Category_Code=GAUNDER)
All that stuffs on PFYC, add a Cold Air Intake and you'd have around 25 more hp at the wheels.

Hope you didn't buy it thinking you were going to get any crazy gains out of it.

my mistake was buying the car after looking at what could be done to improve it. Its still a nice car, and probably one of the better cars that I have had. Probably looking to spend about $1 - $1700 on performance

Honestly,
Just from what I've seen and heard on the forum over the past few years, you're better off keeping your money.
You're not going to get your moneys worth out of it.
In my opinion
