go to home depot and buy they aluminum guter guard. its really cheap and you get way more than enough.

put it behind the spot where you want the grille, most of us put it in the "mouth" of the bumper and in the "nostrils"

make marks where you need to cut and cut out the pieces using sheet metal cutters.

now everyone has a different opinion on how to attach the grills, but i found that using zip ties was pretty easy and holds very well. where there were no holes to put the zip ties i used the sticky backed anchors that work with the zip ties and cleaned the spot and stuck them on there. some other people will tell you to use epoxy or clear calking to glue the guard to the bumper, but i liked the zip tie idea.

you can also paint the grille to whatever color you want. i used that chrome look alike paint because bare aluminum tends to tarnish and look dull. i used this paint and the guard is very shiny. you could also clear coat the paint so that it lasts longer

i hope this is informative and help you add that "custom" look to your car.

Im not sure what you mean by sticky backed anchors? they come with zip ties?

What did you zip tie it to? The bottom spoiler piece?

no, you buy these little plastic pieces that look like a flat piece of plastic, sticky on one side, and it has a hook on the other side. it sticks to the back side of the bumper and it then holds the grille on with a ziptie.

ok I think I know what you are talking about, but where do you get them? Home Depot? Because I use something VERY similar to keep papers up on my desk, i got em from staples =) The exact name/brand would be appreciated. Sorry for being so annoying..

If you can't find anywhere to ziptie your car to, do what I did and use duct tape :)

No, seriously, I put like 8 pieces on, and I got up to 95 last night on the highway, then raced some dude, and I was worried the grill might fall off and chew up my tires, but its still on.

(This is temporary till I quit being lazy.)

I used caulking to hold my grills on it works extremely well. I am lazy and didnt feel like figuring out how to use the zip ties and crap... The stuff works realy well its weather proof and dries very strong and it adheres well to smooth surfaces. The only problem is that I want to repaint them and well they are stuck on a little too well :D Oh well at least I know they wont fall off like the first grill i made did :rage:
