Headlight Sealent Help

Hey guys,

I need some advice.. the gray sealant that goes around my headlight started to come apart at the top of my headlight. The back part of it chipped off when I took off my headlight covers. The actual part that connects to the headlight is still intact. Should I put some clear sealant on top of the old stuff where the part broke off? I have HID's now and don't want to get moisture in there. What do you all suggest? Does that clear stuff work ok?

Thats what my headlights have been sealed with for a few years now.

Clear silicon does wonders in sealing our type of headlight.also restoring the gaskets in the back where the bulbs attach. Its best to use WD 40 for that.

Use WD-40? What would I use that for?

Where can you get silicone sealant? A friend of mine has a cracked passenger headlight on her GAGT and the bulb keeps burning out from the moisture.

either black or clear silicone..i used that for my 94 corner lens...worked great...just make sure all the moisture is out of it.
