SE Rims

Okay, I've got a set of these sitting around, and I'm trying to play with ideas on how to paint just parts of it, to change the look a little bit. Like a gunmetal color, I was thinking, or perhaps a dark blue to match my car. Anyone that wants to play with em? I'm just looking for ideas, so anything is possible.

I'd suggest the 1/8" blue 3M vinyl tape. Mask out the line of the spokes with it - you can restick it 5-6 times before it loses adhesion, and it can bend in a tight radius. Then just use traditional masking tape. Or use the same 3M vinyl stuff but 1/4" in between - after 1/8" and before regular masking tape - I found that to be the easiest method to mask quickly and accurately.

Yea, it is going to suck to do, but hey... might as well. The wheels are just sitting in the shed right now. Hopefully I can get it done over a three-week period. I'll post pics once I get 'em done.
