I HAVE NOTICED THAT A LOT OF YOU GUYS ARE TAKING OUT YOUR MAF SCREEN. HOW MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE? HOW DO YOU REMOVE IT?

For the SC cars? It makes a slight difference, it is not very noticeable... It makes the car run richer in most cases when naturally aspirated.
That effect is negligible when SC, where the increased air flow is probably the largest benefit.
Try a search on the topic. There is a lot of info out there...

There has been a lot of debate as too wether this is good or bad for your car. Supposedly the screen is meant to straighten air flow over the wires in the MAF and taking the screen out will throw off it's reading. I don't know for sure, but I would be inclined to leave it in. They put it there for a reason, and the gain if any would be so small it's not worth the risk of messing it up. Just my $.02. :)

I descreened mine and it seems mine has weird starting issues once in a while, so I'd recommend leaving it alone. These only started AFTEr I descreened it. Gotta find me one WITH the screen, probably get raped if I went through GM :(

In the all-supreme ultimate world of theoretical nonsense... the MAF screen is intended to create optimal laminar air flow over the sensor which enables the sensor to take the most accurate reading possible. Removing it has the possibility of lending flow to a slight "ventury" effect... which you want after the MAF I believe...
