View Full Version : Buzzing under dash

There's a buzzing under my dash, I think it's a fan. It only comes on when my fan is on, but what's really weird is that if it's windy out or I'm going really fast, it's a lot worse. Sometimes it buzzes with the fan off, if I'm going fast enough (90+)
I'm sure I can figure this thing out, but I figured I'd ask first...can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I have noticed this when I have the blower on 5 in the feet area ~ but click it down to 4 and its gone. Figure it was the just the blower going bad

Ok, so where to start in finding the blower? I know it's under the dash...but I'm not sure if I should look under the hood, or do I have to take the entire dash apart?

the blower motor is behind the glove box

Yeah if a leaf or whatever gets sucked in there, it will make a buzzing noise. I dont think the blower is too hard to get out. if its any like a J-Car, just three screws and it falls out... clean out the cage, and plenum area and you should be all set
