Are the majority of the people from Northern AB (Edmonton and area) or South (Calgary and area)? If it is split then why not pick somewhere central.

Thats as of two weeks ago what has been done with the exception of the chip. I am waiting for DHP now because the ASE wasn't all that **** hot with my mods. They (ASE) claims they will custom a chip for me now but we will see. I am out of town on business (in Tokyo actually) right now so I haven't even driven the car yet since its been done. grrrrr.
For any of you guys in Calgary --- go see Hole Shot Custom Engine in the NE and tell them that Steve with the Alero sent you. They do awesome work at a good price. As of two weeks ago I have the following done;
TOG Headers
Shaved head
massive portNpolishing
performance gasket
upper and lower ported
TB ported
Borla cat-back
Cool Air intake (hole shot custom made one for me)
Cooler plugs
Taylor Wires
underdrive pully (Street Arsenal)
I am going to drop another 100$ on a Vette MAF as the computer is reporting that the MAF is getting more air than it knows what to do with -- which is a good problem to have I think. :-)
I am also waiting on American Performance of Colorado to get me the larger TB.
The computer is reporting somewhere around (I dont trust this so will hit a dyno hopefully before x-mas) 260ft/lbs of torque which at 4000 above sea level is pretty damn good I think. According to a friend of mine (he has a insanely souped up Neon) who has been kind of watching my car for me - he can hit the speed limited (175KM/H) in second which probably isn't all that good for the car but impressive none the less.
Next will come a tranny cooler and better fluid, and if I can get the cash I want to do more bottom end engine work but its getting pricey.

Here are my results. I am a bit disapointed as I expected more, but I did these pulls in second gear and was triggering all kinds of check engine, service engine, ABS, lights and my fuel/air map was wacked.

Hi, I'm in Edmonton and I purchased the SC/T hood back in late April of 2002 from the dealership I bought my car from. The price on the hood itself is $1575 plus tax. Paint and install will obviously vary depending on where you get it done. All together the whole thing set me back about $2300.oo

Yeah RGAGT as soon as this snow is gone on goes the Chrome-tecks. Probably be about 1-1/2 to 2 months before I can take off the noisey studded tires.
Any close to definate date for getting together? I have put in for some vacation days early in the spring(usually not a problem in getting them changed though). As long as I have some money I l should be able to make it.
