oh man these are a pain in the ass to remove, and i stil can not figure out how to remove them without actually ripping them out and breaking something accidently, any tips?

You can get a Y puller tool at a auto store like autozone. Its a tool that looks like a screwdriver and at the end splits into a Y shape.
I dont think Y puller is the correct term for the tool though.

and these for sure will work, i pretty much broke one of the clips trying to get it off, how much $ do they run, and do i need new pushclips when reinstalling

I have one of those myself and use it all the time, it works like a charm. I have never bought a new clip either, that tool removes them so you dont necessarily have to buy new clips... but you can. They run $6-10 bones.

just cut them out and replace with new ones, you can get like 20 for 3 bucks at autozone or o'reillys

you can get enough room between the liner and the bumper to slip a box cutter it and just push down. that is what i do.

just use the end of a crowbar. worked for me.

I installed CAI today and ya, those plastic screws are impossible to get off. I ended up cutting them.

i ended up cutting mine off too, i have like 10 extra sitting in the garage, just in case
