So i brought my car in to get a headlight fixed after there was water in there and to get the black strip around the bumper replaced. SO i get the car back and i look at the repair sheet it showed that there was an engine coolant leak then says lower intake gasket leaking then replace intake gasket. Is there anything i should cheack to see if the coolant had messed up anything? Also i looked at the lights when i got home and i noticed some fog in the replaced light and the other light now has water in it. does the fog mean they didnt fix the light the first time. thanks

Do a search for LIM gasket problems. It's pretty common. Early in 2003 GM designed a revised gasket that supposedly takes care of the problem. If you're losing coolant (or oil) then you probably have the problem. You can look around for leaks, but they aren't always obvious, depending on where the leak is ... it's possible to get coolant going into the oil, coolant leaking out, or even oil in the coolant.

I had to have the lower intake gasket replaced on my '99 GAGT. They put a dye in the coolant and found where it was leaking. I also had a fog light replaced due to water leakage (don't remember how long after I got the car new). Those were my 2 big problems--had the car for 5 years. Hopefully my '04 GAGT won't have similar trouble--had it--5 months now and counting...
