These would be great for car shows, or if you just want to have a little fun while messing around with friends.

Don't let the small size fool you. This compact, lightweight warning light packs full-size Linear8 Super-LED power that rivals xenon strobe intensity! Now you can have serious warning protection in a package that's easy to mount or transfer from vehicle to vehicle.

This light uses Whelen's patented "Linear LED" technology, which dramatically increases the off-axis (side) visibility. The linear8 LED design completely fills out the reflector for more uniform light output... no LED dots... It is brighter straight on, and you'll be amazed at how much light comes out of the sides. Simply put, this is the brightest LED light available today.

Whelen Talon Features
--Clear lense and small size: virtually invisible
--Selection switch on the back of the strobe
--21 patterns on the dual model and 15 patterns on the single model
--Lightweight and sturdy
--Rated at 100,000 hours of operation

Pulling people over with red and blue strobes is fun until you get arrested by the real cops.

I'm not saying you should buy these and use them on the streets. In fact, I say don't do that!

If you're into lighting, which some of you are, then they are great for fooling around in empty parking lots, off the main roads, and at car shows!

I was being sarcastic...

For a real question: are these waterproof?

they are to be mounted inside the car. There are some like that that are to me mounted externally, ie mirrors, grills, etc. But I think these specifically are for in the car. (mounted on the windshield)

These kinds of things are great for people that are actually cops though too! I got a friend who is a cop and he's kinda into customizing his cars. I've installed some stuff on his truck for him. He got some after market strobes on his truck and since he's a cop he can actually pull people over even with his private vehicle and not get in trouble. lol He didn't do it very often (didn't want to waste his off time for stupid little things), but sometimes if he saw someone do something really crazy and dangerous he'd stop them. You'd be surprised how many people drive all careful when they see a patrol car around and drive like maniacs when they think there are no cops around. :nono:

Trust me, I know how that goes. Seeing the looks on their faces when they do something dumb, then you catch up to em, is PRICELESS.

But people think running through traffic balls to the wall is fun... And it is for the first few times. But then you realize that when youre making lotsa noise and reds and blues are flashing, your more of an idiot magnet then ever before. You can make much better time running quiet.

I do not yet have sirens listed on Oznium.com, but I have access to any Whelen product. So if you're interested, let me know and I can get you a good price.

I will be adding waterproof LEDs in a nice aluminum housing pretty soon. They are called TIR3's and are around $70.
