alright, so one of my fogs is burnt out.

I plan to buy a new set, but I was wondering if there was a way to buy Driving bulbs. You know, sorta like driving lights which are really really bright, but keeping the stock housing, just making them bulbs?? if not, that's fine too, but just wondering.

Oh yeah, i have a 97 GAGT coupe. the bulb number is like 803 or 806, someone refresh my memory.

Not if you dont want to melt your housings and wiring harnesses. Higher voltage=More Heat.

If you want to use the same housing that is currently on your Grand Am then you may want to try some Sylvania SilverStar bulbs. The bulb type should be 880ST.

driving lights (blazertech's) + stock lenses= disaster.

just buy the whole assembly, its only like 15 bucks more and def worth it.

Everyone I know that tried brighter fog bulbs ended up melting the housing. The Optilux/Hella angeleyes fit and at 55 watts, work well as driving lights.
