OK, I've seen aluminum wheels just like the ones I have on my 2000 GA (factory 15" 5 spokes) on a 2000 Grand Am.

my next question, will the 16" polished, thin 5 spoke wheels from a '00-'01 GP GTP fit on my car, if not why?

I've asked this question before and the answer was no and no-one could tell me why.

Yeah, they should fit. We have a 2000 GTP with the 5 Spoke Torque star rims. I'm very fond of those and I kid with my dad about trading his 5 stars for my chrome techs. He's yet to take me serious. :(

You will not want to keep the same tires on those rims if you do get them. They have a higher profile than the GT's with the 16's so your speedo will be off....

Yeah, we're both due for tires actually, so that's how we'd do it. He was interested at one time, but now that he's got his Firebird with the real 16" chromes, he's not too interested in having chrome on the Grand Prix now. But the plan was to get some Bridgestone Pontenza 950's for the GTP rims, 225/50/16's, and get the Chrometechs wrapped in 225/60/16's. Would work I say!!! :D

It will be 5.9% too slow.

When the speedo says you're going 60, you'll really be going 63.5
