I've been asked that a couple times now.

I showed them last year in February & in March that the wheels had white "funk" (looked like mold) & some pitting on the aluminum edge of the rim. It wouldn't come off and only got worse. There wasn't any curb rash or anything. It was just random spots.
It wasn't horrible, but still noticeable.
They said it looked like "corrosion" and that a area manager had to inspect them.
So they FINALLY (after a year!), called in the area manager to inspect them and he said okay. So they ordered up 4 brand new rims and I get them tomorrow!

And I just dented one (from a pothole) a month ago and they're still replacing it! :)
