I had bought brand new rotors/pads there is about 2000kms on them. Looks like rotors are not the right and will have to replace them...do i have to get new pads too or the current ones (remember on 2000kms on them) alright to use with new rotors?

You can use the old pads, you won't have much wear on them.

but if the rotors are warped or not put on correctly, the slight wear in the brake pads could be uneven or grooved and will not be good with your new rotors, so inspect them first, along with your old rotors
and for the record it is reccommended to use new pads but yours are practicaly new so as long as they are even it should be fine
edit: good test would be to press your brake pads firmly against your new rotors, you want them to have 100% contact

^yah i just replaced my warped rotors 2 weeks ago, and the pads were realllllllllly messed up (even broken up on edges). just make sure they are worn evenly like matt said.
