front license plate filler/cover

Just wondering if anyone had a front license plate filler for sale, I am looking for one that is the silver used on the 2000 GAGT's. Also if anyone else knows where I can find one of these or any websites that might sell them. Yes I know that the dealership could get me one, just trying to save money if possible. Thanks

I OWN A 2000 GAGT . I HAD A BACK UP ONE PAINTED TO MATCH YES THE SILVER METALLICMIST COLOUR FOR 2000 GA'S . COULD NOT TELL YOU IF IT EXACTLY 100% MATCHES... EVEN THOUGH I HAD two of them painted at the same time . and one of them on my car matches perfect. my gagt is still in storage for a few months . you can have it for 25.00 us plus what ever it would cost to ship . and whether you purchase insurance for the package . new never been used . no returns or refunds as it would be easier and better to reprint ( if ) it needed to . what the condition of your paint on your car now ? i know these things cost me each somewhere around 50 to 75 dollars cdn i think ....... before painting ???? how colour silver was on ga's only for 1999 and thenm only on gagt's for 2000 . then another shade of silver after those years . troy

Keep checking the "For sale" section and do a eBat search. I got one from eBay in my color for $15 shipped. There is a Ebay store that sells the painted covers for $15 + shipping

yeah i definitely say go with ebay they have everything for a lot cheaper.. that's where my b/f ordered his struts and coil overs for really cheap.. definitely search there!!

I don't remember the name. It was at the bottom of the search page. I was using "Grand Am plate" and "filler" and "bumper". People list them under different names so you have to hunt around a little.

Silvermist metallic is not a rare color. It was the color used for all silver 99-2000 GA's before going to galaxy silver in 2001.

gm says the colour was only offer the way i mentioned . and if it was only offer for two years out of 6 years that rare . the other silver was offered four years . see the difference . the colour according to gm dealers is also a little hard to paint . my guess is because as i can see and others point out that the metallic slivermist changes colour a wee bit in different brighness of light. i have had both owners of ga's with black cars etc and the other silver tell me they wish they had my colour . tell you the truth i did not think mmuch of the colour for a year or so after getting my car . i want red . but with folks pointing things out about my paint colour i love it now.

you can get a shop to paint that for 20 bux tops.....i dont see whats so rare and diffucult....paint code is a paint code

Sorry partner, your GM dealership was probably just trying to screw you out of some money. Silver GA's are a dime a dozen, doesn't matter if it was only offered for two years or 4 or 20...fact of the matter is, is that it is far from rare. Why would it be any harder to paint than any GM color...like KDawg says, a paint code is a paint code...
