Does anybody know what the OEM # for a steering wheel with radio controls is?

I think Ryan Currie (GrafxWerks) did that a few months ago on his GA. Try and PM him if he doesn'T see the thread...

Yeah, what a pain in the butt the conversion is!
In addition to the wheel, you'll also need GM Part # 26096192 - its the airbag coil. They are different between the wheels with and without the controls. Cost on that one is about $130US.

Geez, do you know how much it will cost me for the entire project of replacing it? I'll take it to a dealer to do it I know I'll make it worst if I try to make the conversion. Thanx for all your help guys.

IIRC, the SIR Coil cost me $187CDN and I was quoted $550CDN for a new wheel w/radio controls. I got the wheel on eBay for $50US shipped.
I'd bet that when its all said and done, you'd end up paying in the ballpark of $750CDN ($500US) for the swap w/labor and a bit of a deal.

wow, time to go to some junk yards, maybe I can find a smashed GAGT that has the steering with controls. I really want that but 500 US $ seems a lot. I am thinking with 500 i get a decent head unit with remote and just mount that remote somewhere on the steering. Thanks Ryan for all the info.
