View Full Version : What Hub Assembly?
What is a good hub assembly to buy? Napa? autozone? GM? (i just paid $270 for a GM one about 13 months ago and its toast already) so i am thinking about getting a different kind. thanks for any suggestions

BCA is a pretty reliable unit. I had a cheapo installed on my car and it had some major build quality issues, had it replaced w/ a BCA two days after and alls been good since.

I dont remember which brand I got, but it was the only one that Autozone had in stock and was their base, lowest cost brand. ($120ish)
I have had no problems at all after about 6-7 months.

Somethings not right if you went through a GM hub that fast
i just looked i bought the GM one on 1/26/04 :( its just out of warranty...
well i picked up a new GM 1 for $165
do these prices only reflect one assembly or both front assemblies?

Autozone's better line is the Timken bearings, they are some of the best bearings out there. They also are know as being american made, but i've seen a lot lately that have china printed on them. China...where all good american stuff is made...
