Getrag Tranny

Hey guys I tried to search for info the Getrag tranny for the 2.4l and came up with nothing, also search for GAGT tranny and it said nothing found in a retarded kinda way. But yada yada yada....


I was curious is there a Getrag tranny that can be used to mate with the 2.4. and what is the final drive ratio? Secound how hard is it to refit a manuel into a auto. I know about running the linkage and the PCM, but has anyone does a conversion of an automatic to a manuel and how hard was this?

Someone sucessfully swapped, I think he's only on gaownersclub.com forums tho. You'll want want to locate a 2001 2.4 manual as your parts donor.

So Im guessing a 98 cavy or a 97 GA won't work right?

Any idea on what the final drive ratio on a 01 2.4 is?
