When DavidScott77 and I were at the track together, I noticed his rear windows on his 99 4 door GT rolled down much farther then mine. His almost disappear into his doors (leaving barely an inch or so above the seal) and mine stay about 6-7 inches up. I was just wondering when and why they would have changed that. I kind of wish mine went down that far. I really like having the car as open as possible. I'm not really worried about mine or nothing, I just thought it was curious. Cool beans.

I have a 2000 model and the back windows go down almost all the way (about an inch or so above the door) so they must have changed that on the 2001 models.

Figures, I get the gimpy year. Hmm, wonder if I can convert them... I really like the way it looks when the back window is almost all down. Mine leaves too much glass exposed, and I get these nasty lines going across from where the seal sits on the window when it's down. Wouldn't be as bad looking if there was much less window exposed.
Maybe a change in Government regulation or something...

HAHA! I agree that the lines from the seals would be less visible...especially if you had vent visors. I don't know how you'd go about changing that whole setup though.
I kinda feel the same way about the stereo going from the 2000 to the 2001 with the Monsoon. I'm not a stereo junky and never will be, but I definitely like the looks of the Monsoon deck better than the 99 & 00 stereo's. Plus, I had the chance to compare mine to a friends Monsoon. The monsoon sounds a little better. It seemed to have a clearer sound to it. Anyhoo, now that I am off the original topic......
I'm sure if you found a simple & inexpensive way to change the windows in that manner, others here would follow you on it.
