2.4 rsm supercharger - ecu upgrade?

is there any info anywhere about an ecu for the 2.4 supercharger? i dont wanna burn 4000$ to find out my cars potential will never be reached without a chip, ug, i feel bad for the 3.4s =/

and you still are going to have to wait a long time. They take forever to ship the kit.

as i was debating on what to do a friend pointed out kindly because of my personality, when i do, and im sure i will, blow up the turbocharger i'l lose the entire engine, but if the supercharger breaks, its just the supercharger =P

the 210+ hp they claim for the 2.4 is more then enough for me, i'll beef up a little bit of engine work, get to high 14s and be happy...


i thought the chip they gave wasn't as good as one would be if it was done better?...

and i dont care how long it takes i cant drive till june 27th : )

and just so im clear the chip rsm sends is the same chip that ase reprograms? and also, does that remove the rev limiter, will that allow me to be in first, foot on brake, gas it to over 5k ?

No its not the same. Contact them for specifics. I'd say it would be more of a hassle and more expensive to rebuild an SC then a turbo.

i called rsm earlier this morning. i ordered my kit about 6 1/2 weeks ago and still nothing. not only that, but i did recently find out that i do have to ship them my ecu to be reprogramed too. the day i ordered it, they said about 4 weeks to ship. and they keep delaying the shipment date. rsm said that all the sc's ordered last month should be shipping this week and maybe early next week. we will have to see. i just wish they would tell me a specific date and quit pushing dates. i PM'd irate to see if his is coming/arrived yet too. cause we ordered about the same time.

PICracing is waiting for my manifold to be heat treated jet coated whatever coated, and on some gadgets like my blowoff valve. It's almost finished for me. :)
