I have a 2002 GA with teh 2.2 Ecotec, Weapon R Headers, Weapon R CAI, SLP Exhaust w/ high flow cat. I have pretty much destroyed my stock transmission... What is available to upgrade to for a better transmission becasue I know this spring when/if I put a turbo in I'll completely destroy this one and probably any other stock trannys. Whats available to upgrade to? Thanks for the help!

You destroyed your stock tranny? How?
If you have auto tranny now, might want to look into manual swap.

I havent destroyed it "yet" but it is starting to go. Pretty much everytime I drive I can feel it slip and then engage, and almost every single time it shifts into 2nd gear and also into 1st out of park the car slams into gear and tries to lurch forward. Perhaps its not my tranny?

You sound like you may have a sensor problem. You may want to check the IAT sensor on the air intake. That will cause strange things to happen to the trans.

I did just change out my Air Intake to a Weapon R CAI and the plug doesnt match up the same, it just has a rubber seal to hold the IAT Sensor in place, it doesnt actually plug in like it does to the stock air intake tube... If I just dropped my car off to get check out at the dealership, paying them $200.00 and dropped $400.00 on renting a '05 Trail Blazer for the week, Im going to be ****ed!

My grandam slipped alot too, tranny place took pan off and found peices of metal in bottom of pan,put in a new torque converter and rebiult my tranny.cost of the job would have been 2400, but my x-tended warranty ,only had to pay 50.

maybe ill just end up takingit into a tranny specialist. I did fix my IAT sensor though, and that made it a lot better, but it still slams when i get on it...
