Well, I know people have WON them, so they exist in some form... I was just wondedring if anyone knew what the current status is? (Obviously they're not released yet...)

I've been looking at quite a few pictures of them... it looks like the front and rear facias are just a screw & glue job, but the rocker pannels seem to be one piece... think this kit will be under $1000?

My plan is to use the money from the 94 for either the SC/T kit or a new head unit. which breaks me first we shall see :)

From what I have heard the kit is not being produced by GM, but through an aftermarket source. GM would run into problems with clearance issues with the front chin spoilier. At least that what I have heard.

Yes yes... there is much word that the price on the ASC body kit is going to blow the cost of the *** kit out of the water...

Yes GM is not going to do it directly and the aftermakret company will be from what I have read on here... If it is ASC then it will be quality stuff, but the price will not be very attractive to most I believe. I am only interrested in that front chin so I hope that is not to much. I mean with this new www.andysautosport coming in a matter of weeks, I hope I can grab those rocker pannels and back bumper, and the SCT front. I just like the GT front to much to take off. :)

Sorry I guess that is not realy new info on the topic, but there really is not much new on it. They have a webdsite, but it does not say anything about it yet.

You guys think that the final Gen 5 Grand Am (2004) will have the kit from the factory? At least on a special edition platform perhaps?? GM usually give a good final edition for their models...i.e. the final GP is cool...

Yes I do as a dealer accessorie at least. Snice this kit is the quality urathane and not to wild and all it meets the standards to do just that... I mean they have the hood and spoiler already available, so I though all along that was the plan to have the kit as well.

Well from what I am told from GM. The Chin spoiler doesn't meet ground clearance standards. I wouldn't expect to see the kit on cars anytime soon.
