What size engine do you have ? For the 3.4 it's right about 200 tic lower in the winter & maybe 1 tic higher in the summer.Atleast that's about what I run at .

two lines past is normal, when its hot out during the summer it sometimes might get three lines passed but normally will go back down after a minute or do while driving faster than about 40 mph.

My car has always been in the middle even after I installed the 180* thermo. And goes two lines down when the A/C is on. So figure.

Mine varies also. 200 in the winter and between 200 and 215 in the summer in traffic.

What Temperature Engine Cooling Fans Come ON At (http://www.grandamgt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21601)

Normal operating temperature is around the middle mark 195F/91C range.

When running on the highway:
In the winter my engine is around 2-lines below the middle 90C mark.
In the summer my engine is around 1-line below the middle 90C mark.
Unless I am sitting in traffic or driving in the city.

mine used to run constantly 2 tics higher than 200, my mechanic said he would change out my thermostat for free while he fixed my lim gasket problem since then it runs at 200 consistantly

If your just letting it run in park there is no air getting in there to cool it down. The fans will come on at low speed when it gets hot enough.

Mine runs about 1 tick lower then 90 degrees. Sometimes if I am using heat and or A/C it will go up around 1 tick past 90 degrees. If I am sitting in traffic on a hot day it might run 2 ticks higher but that's about it
