Take it to another dealer that isn't so lazy. If you go to that dealer again, ask them how an airbox can affect the brakes, ask them why they think you have abused your car and ask exactly how a mesh grill can affect the radiator negativley.

Go to another dealer. I hate car dealerships service people 70% of the time, especially GM ones (with the exception of some very reputable ones locally), lazy SOB's.

Take it to the top my friend.

Speak with their general manager there, or call the head office and speak with them

Even an IDIOT knows a cold air intake wont mess up brakes lines.

Dont let them push you around bro:thumbs:

Yeah talk to someone higher. In my old car the clutch master cylinder went out because I had a radar detector.wtf I abuse my car. Shut up and fix it. That's what we pay the extra for. Not like it come out of their pocket. Talked a little and it got fixed.

Ditto on the "I HATE GM SERVICE DEPT"

that's totally hardcore bull**** from GM service. They HATE giving warranty service. Honestly it's part of their job to do warranty work. Before you know it having an airfreshener will affect the way your A/C works too I bet.

lol I love my service department. They haven't said a single thing about my exhaust, I just did the CAI, I will have to see what they say about that...probably nothing...

So far they have been really cool and fixed all problems with my car, which have only been 2 or 3 in the 1 1/2+ years I've had it.

It could cause the compressor to go out didn't you know?

Next you'll be saying painting the key fob doesn't affect the transmission

They have to specifically prove that the modified part caused the problem. Bring up the Magnuson- Moss Warrenty Act and I'm sure they will change there mind.

If they proved to you that it did then your out of luck. If not you should have sued.

Speaking of hacking up a car, the techs at my dealership had to check out the DRL kit. They were all like 'No way, you can shut 'em off? Cool!'

Then I got them to clear all the codes stored in the BCM from our trial and error. Over 50 error codes.... Not anymore! I love my dealership!!!

If they don't want to fix it, just find another dealer and BE NICE and friendly, but don't back down or take no for an answer. Worked for me!

P.S. Not to mention all the free stuff I get just for asking: tires, actuators, plastic trim pieces that I broke myself....the list goes on and on.

after battling with gm i got everything fixed and im much happier. Wooow these gm techs are so lazy when it comes to doing warranty work it took them 1 month to fix my car. And the thing is they did a crappy job because they need to do a wheel re-alignment so the wheels were wobling and they had no clue y until i said did you guys do an alignment after the new tranny install. " ummm.....i guess we must of forgot because we rushed your car through the process" BULL S H I T

anyway always stick up for what you want fixed because gm sucks
