Can somebody please chop any of these wheels on my car? I'm goin for either 18s all around, or 17s in front, 18s in back.. or maybe just stickin with 17s..

^ shut it, eh. I want some chops.. of course I'd like to go 18s this time around, but that's gonna depend on what rim I like best [the Excel's only come in 17s].. I really wanna see how those M-Sports look, cuz I like the rims a lot, just not sure on the GA.
Basically, all these rims have completely diff looks, so I wanna see what I like best, n then search more from there.

the vision ones have too thin spokes, the ones with rivets... have rivets, buddy club is slowly getting played out...
slp made a nice rim, well at least were selling it, i'll look when i get home i cant find it now, it was my second choice for a rim if i had decided not to go light weight

eh, yeah I didn't like the rims u'd pick out cuz IIRC, they didn't have a polished lip.. dark rims IMO need a polished lip, cuz otherwise they just look dirty [except those black 1's on Schweppe's car -- those are hot!].
Somebody chop for me pleeeease. :)

ya, Im lookin to get new Rims. I sold the Buddy Clubs at the end of the last year. I thought i was going to be getting rid of the car this spring/summer however ive decide to keep it. So im back in the market.
So, Im back looking to Mod alittle, But Trying to contain myself and Safe more then i spend on the DAM Car!! I swear its addiction, They need AAA for Car Mods.
Mel, don't put gunmetal rims on your car.

17x7.5 Quantum Tek S-10 alloys -- they're not mint, been on the car for almost 4 yrs, n the tires are bald.

That's not a bad chop, but yeah, the fender trim kinda clashes with those rims.

Looks like I came back just in time. I don't have a lot of time to chop lately, so if you pick your 2 favorite sets of rims above I will chop them for you.

I think those wheels are a thumbs down. I don't think they will do anything for the car but make it look blahhhhhhh.
Be prepared that when you take of those sweet chrome fender skirts, the paint is probably going to be damaged where they sat. So you will either have marks, need to wet sand/buff/wax the hell out of it, or have to get it painted

I was thinking the same actually. It's been more than a few years, right? It will be visable. I made the dealer swap hoods on my 95 before I purchased it. The previous owner had a hood protector (top of bra) on it... even after buffing the line was visable.

n I'm fully aware of the potential for fade under the trim.. I had the same problem when I took the racing stripes off -- n those were always in direct sunlight.. I don't think it will be *too* bad since they're on the side of the car, n often shadowed..
Lastly, I *need* new tires this spring. Mine are bald. Bald tires + rear sway bar = trouble. Hell, bald tires are just bad in general lol.
I figured for the price I'll hafta pay for new tires, I may as well get a package deal, n even if I can sell my old rims for $300, if I can get these Konigs for $700 [including shipping], I'm getting a pretty kickass deal.

rimstop.com has a link where you can choose your car and view lots of wheels on your car. you can choose your car model, color, and even view the wheels spinning. it's not perfect, but it's pretty cool.
...oops, i forgot to mention. go to: http://www.rimstop.com/home.asp. search for wheels, click on any wheel, then you should see a pic that says, "View the Wheels on you car". Gotta have a JVM installed.
