hi was reading in the HOW TO section on how to get the paint off your knobs by using a heating gun to melt the paint away. i was wondering if you dont have access to a heating gun like me, would it work if i just held the knobs over boiling water and let it steam like steaming vegestables? i know its kinda silly but it makes sense to me in concept. if anyone knows let me know or any other alternatives besides a heating gun. thanks in advance

If you have a blow dryer that gets hot enough that works.

I had heard that the blow dryer worked, but from yesturdays experience, they dont! I went and bought a heat gun, even with that thing it was a huge pain in the arse! I think Im gonna try some terpentine! If you clear your hvac knobs, i wish you the best.
