Remote trunk release

My trunk will only open with a key. It won't respond to the door button or key fob. I went to replace the fuse and as I was pushing the fuse in something sparked behind the fuse and the trunk popped open on its own. After that it still won't work. The owners manual says the Monsoon amp and trunk share the same relay.
The amp still works when the fuse is in but could it be the relay or something else ?

I dont know how to have you figure it out without the dealership scanner. (Tech 2)...sorry.

I mean no offence or disrespect here, it may sound stupid, but have you checked if your security switch in the trunk is not turned on? someone may have moved it and this will prevent anyone from opening the trunk using the trunk release button or the remote, when it is set to that position only the key will work.
