http://www.n-body.net/registry/irategt/Bullittdoor1.jpg You can buy the fuel door from Classic Design Concepts (http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com/catalog/itemdisplay/534.html) and it looks like its going to cost $99.99.
Before beginning, make sure you have an air die grinder (recommended) or a dremmel tool (have fun) because you're going to have to grind off about 1/8-2/8ths from the perimeter of the door for a perfect fit. I suggest starting with an aggressive metal bit, and working down to a stone bit to smooth it. It is strongly recommended that you leave the protective film on the fuel door until completely finished and installed. It is normal to run into a "copper layer" while grinding, and no the whole door is not made of copper, its a quality piece.
The plastic spill catch housing must be moved from the outside of the body pannel to the inside for proper fit of the fuel door. It will be secured by the hardware supplied with the door.
Next, holes need to be drilled in the body pannel to secure the door. Other than that, its quite simple. All it takes is a steady hand and a lot of test-fittings...
