ok guys, I've got an SE and due to an accident its gonna look like a GT really soon thanks to state farm... :) anyway, i'm gonna put a new muffler and dual exhaust on it because i think it will look retarded with dual exhaust cutouts and a single pipe. I was wondering what all you guys were running and what they sound like. I'm wanting something that's gonna sound deep and mean, not like an import. I know i'll never get the sound like a v8 has, but none the less, I want something that is gonna sound powerful. what do you think? oh yea, it's got the 3.4L v6

Go with the magnaflow muffler for a f-body camaro/trans am. sounds amazing.

Search around, this has been covered a lot. Check out the All-Go section. Most will say SLP, Borla, or Magnaflow.

I was thinking of a magnaflow or a V-force (basically a cheap flowmaster) but wondered if they sounded good on the 3.4 since they are made for the 350 in f bodies

yea, that's what i DONT want to sound like, I've heard numerous cavis and s-10 4 bangers around that i just laugh at when they rev them past the speed shops, I want to sound more powerful and throaty than that

SLP. Enought said. Good gains, good construction, good price, good sound. Get a dump if you want to sound really mean... I love mine, its almost always open, except on the highway. Too loud then. SLP will not dissapoint.
