So when I turn the knob to the 1 or 2 setting, the air does not come on. It works for 3,4, and 5, but nothing happens for 1 and 2. What could be the problem? Does this mean I need to get a whole new HVAC module, or can I fix my broken one???

Thanks a bunch! I searched, but didn't find that thread. Do you think Autozone or Advanced Auto would have this part in stock or could get it for me if they didn't have it? I really hate going to the dealer, and I don't want to go through mail order.

I'm sure they do, AC Delco brand. HERE (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33545&item=7971363759&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW) is one on ebay for $15.99 + $7.99 for shipping. You should check your local auto parts store and it may be cheaper...... Kinda a PITA to replace, but you will have all your speeds back.

Thank a ton, man. I was really confused as to why the car was still really cold when I had the heat on at level 2... lol Just turned down the music for a sec and realized it wasn't working. I figured it most likely had something to do with the HVAC blower motor, but wasn't exactly sure what it was. I'm glad this thing is less than $20, cuz I was really not looking forward to replacing the entire HVAC module... thanks again!
