I could realy use some advice , I need to get this back on the road for my mother. She is using a friends van to get to work right now and she can`t have it for ever ya know ;) . I also need to know if there is gonna be any springs or anything flying at me when I take the side of the tranny off ?

I dunno about the side of the tranny, but the axel should pop out. Try using a pry bar to pop it out.

I`ve tried pry bars , all they were good for was some smashed fingers.
Does any one know where I might find some slide hammer accesories (sp sorry) ?

Just give the axle a good yank or 2 or 3.... it'll come, there is a speed clip that keeps it in the differential so it wont simply slide out, you have to really yank on it.
