newbie sunroof help please

Hello everyone, I'm new here and I have a 99 grand am gt, and ever since I bought the car, the sunroof does not work, pretty sure it is the motor, where is the best place to buy a motor for it, and how can I check to tell if it is the motor or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Do you get any noise at all when you try to opperate the sunroof. If so does it sound like a clicking noise or does it sound like the motor is trying to move but cant move?

post about everything you've tried, heard, seen, or tasted. more specifics on what you've done will make it an easier problem to diagnose. if you do need a new part, gmpartsdirect.com is probably the best place to go for the price like stated before.

i bought the car, and it did not work, i checked the fuses, changed it out just in case, it does not try to move, it does not make any sound, it doesn't do anything.
