And this time we are going to have a bqq and I'll check the weather before anything not like last time the weather was horrible.

On 45 get on Seawall Blvd take a left goin north east, your going to pass Ferry Rd. to your left, keep goin straight on Seawall Blvd there should be a slanted concrete wall to your left, we should all meet there and from there we can go wherever. Everybody will be able to see us from the road. People meet there all the time, last time there were prolly 50 nice cars all parked, and more started coming till the cops made us leave because we were racing.

I met up with TJ.. The meet I was talking bout is usually all the local racer peeps. They hangout on westheimer best buy (not the richmond best buy) parking lot way down the road like 7-10 miles west of the galleria. I was there last september after Houston Showoff car show in the reliant center from 11pm till 4am. (And after HIN houston in 2003 on june 7th.) They had races and everything. you'll even see cops w/ tow trucks behind them trying to catch the racers and conficate their rides. They are there every weekend. Now why would someone meet up at a busy insections like close to I-610 then go race? Thats just dumb. They usually way down the road on westheimer like 10-15 miles down heading west. down by like hwy 6 and further down.

But saturday.. I was originally gonna hang out at the best buy all night, but I had some more friends drive from new orleans in town and they wanted to goto Dave and busters at 10pm. So i told TJ to meet me there instead. I never said I was gonna have a meet ( a whole crew of cars) with me.

So what's the status so far, B-B-Q or restaurant? If we're meeting in Galveston, which is about an hour drive for me and probably everyone from houston, I say B-B-Q. Otherwise we should just meet in houston like we did last time. Let's take advantage of the fact that it's in Galveston, and make it several hours, not just 1 or 2 hours. What you guys think? I'm not familiar with G-town so I don't know where we would go BBQ. Also, after we meen at 12 noon and leave to where ever we go, anyone who gets there late should have our numbers so they'll no where to go. So i suggest everyone write down the numbers listed just in case.

Hey vince, do you think you could give me a hand in changing out my thermorstat. (or maybe tell me the easiest way to do it). Any special tools?

Why you changing it, it's a pain in the but to do it. I wouldn't do it unless your having problems with it, like it not working or sticking. I put a 180 thermostat on mine, but not worth the hassle if you ask me. I am constantly over 180 in my car. But if you still want to do it, let me know. No special tools reqired. There are two ways to do it, you can either take everything in the way off (which is easier, but longer) or don't take the stuff off and try your luck the way it is, which is harder, but maybe shorter in time, maybe. Also, has to be done when it's cold, or you'll be burning your hands.

my temp reads. 230 most of the time. It will go maybe 2 lines over while driving. It will only stay in the center if I have the heater on full blast. :( Yeah I know it is a pain to change but I think I have not choice. I will gladly pay you for the service, just want help from someone especially someone who did the same thing on the same engine.

The most expensive is the meat. So the best thing to do is for everyone to bring portion of meat large enough for themselves (and whoever they bring). Might even be good idea to bring a little extra so that we will be on the safe side.

Then everyone can bring the other things, Coke, chips, tortillas, bread, ect

So, I can bring the cokes and cooler and a bag of charcole. Any special kind of both?

I will try and see if i can find a small grill. The round ones that look like a large bowl.

So far I haven't really heard any responce as to where we're ending up. It would suck to show up with food and stuff and no where to cook it. Another thing to consider is that G-town may be full this weekend. If it is, and we show up with no where to go, we might end up drivng around for place to hang, and that would suck too. We should at least have several options of where to end up before we meet, that way we don't end driving in circles, which probably would look kinda cool with all of us in a line, but that's besides the point.
