Heres some Scenic pictures of my car that I took this weekend in Kansas City. I love them.

I risked my life taking some of these pictures, at one point i was being chased by some vehicle, and some ghetto bums tried to attack me but it was all for a good cause.

me like. Very nice. Wow, does your headlights appear that blue in person?

thanks! Yep the headlights are that blue in person, most of the blue is coming from that 194 LEd which i have on a switch and only turn it on when im parked. (The cops dont like the blue)


ALso i plan on submitting some of these pics for Grand am of the month here what do you guys think? But maybe since the next month is december i need some christmas lights in the background instead or snow. ?

Im tryin hard to keep it looking nice! I want to keep it simple and clean and elegant looking. I think next on the Agenda for spring is 18's and lowering springs or Air cylinders if the money is right.

i know ive said this many times before, but hey, one more time isnt gonna hurt. sweet car! i really like the blue lights. they definitely add to the car's style. i cant wait to get a digital cam, cause the camera i use now is crappy and the quality is just total mush because i gotta scan them too. maybe i'll get one for christmas?

edit: i just placed you on my desktop background and removed irate's gt with that evil looking blue bucket thing lol

anyone asked you if the "hood on that grand prix came from the factory?" or "hey arent those supercharged?" I get that way too much. :)

Thanks for the complement! The LED's are PIAA 194 blue Leds. You get them at any piaa dealer in your town or on the net. As for the switch i had to find the wires in the wiring harness going up the fender on the drivers side of the car going to the 194 sockets in the headlights and cut the positives and then i wired a wire from one side of the wire up to my switch in my car and then run a wire off of the other side of the switch back down to the other wire to complete the circut. See what im saying? It was kinda a pain in the butt took me about 20 min but i have alot of wiring experience. The only reason i put the 194's on a switch is because the LED's are blue and the cops didnt like them - they cant be on when im driving.

A little bit off topic but...SC/T, about the 7443 Xtreme whites. I just bought a set of those and a set of Platinum 194's to go along with my Platinum 9007's. The 194's match the 9007's perfectly, but 7443's have quite a bit more bluish tint to them. Did yours fade at all or do they stay that blue? I wish PIAA would make 3157's or 7443 in Platinum...that would make it much easier for me... Also, are the 9007 Xtreme Whites as blue as the 7443's?

Even my faded Eurolite 893 fogs match my PIAA headlamps better than the PIAA 7443's :mad:

Sweet i feel famous im on your desktop lol thats awesome :thumbs: i didnt figure my car was nice enough to be on anybodys desktop :) Definately get you a good digi cam i love mine it was the best investiment i made in a while. Mine is a sony cam and i love it so check those out also i heard nikons are one of the better brands as well. Thanks for the complements!

Heck yeah your car kicks ass too, i like your orange! get ya some eyebrows on it! they are a pain in the butt to put on but i know it added alot to my car. But then again your doing to orange scheme too. Oh yeah ive had tons of people call my car a grand prix and people ask if its supercharged and ya know the usual questions about the hood.

Dang that sucks about the 7443's mismatching. Mine havent faded at all yet, they have that slight blueish tint. The reason for the mismatch is because the 7443's are xtreme white and the 194's are platinum. They make the 194's in xtreme white as well i believe. my 9007 xtreme whites are not as blue as my 7443's but it doesnt really bother me any. ill attach a pic of mine with the 7443's and my xtreme white headlights.

anyways it probably wouldnt be worth it changing out the 9007's try getting some 194's in xtreme white maybe or even the 194 leds in white.

Damn dude your lights are amazing( i know what im doing for christmas). But i am confuesed. In your last pic your lights are on, but how come the inner most bulbs arent that blue color as in the previous pics. Im thinking its that switch you were talking about, but in your last pic it looks like all the lights are on.

Thanks! the lights are cool even cooler in person. The blue lights you see i put them on a switch because the cops swarmed me like a krispy kreme doughnut shop when i had them on. Yeah the last pic all the lights were on the one before i had my switch turned off. :thumbs:

ok, so im looking at the marker lights now at a store...

1) for the 3157 lights, can i use 7443? how about 1156, 1157, or just 7743...

2) 168 can be used for 194 rigth?

3) what color is best for the purest white:
xtreme white
super white
platinum super white

4) PIAA has a one year warranty if they burn out right?

i believe platinum superwhite is the whitest. at least that is what i have and its pretty bright. anyway, i have what grandamsc/t has. i have the 194's and the 7443's in replace of the 3157's and they work great. nothing wrong at all after about a few months.

hey, one last question about main lights...
i was looking at PIAA 9007's on the net, and they say 65/55=130/120..... wtf? i know thats highbeam/reg.beam, but why does it say =2x the amount afteR?
