there are 3 around my area, on Regent.. there's Fanny's Fabrics, the one in the strip mall with the LC next to Kildonan PLace next to it located in far corner..... just don't worry about it, im going to walmart tongith, so i'll drop into the places and ask if i can have some and how much $$.....

Check out autostripe on Regent (or is it nairn) how the hell do you spell that?!? Nair-in. There. Phonetically. Sort of.

We deal quite a bit with Willy, the owner over there, and he's tinted all of my cars so far. (He'll work for cash too!;) )

ok, so i went to the one near the LC on regent, they didnt have the sticky sided vinyl Jag. just regular house chair vinyl, etc.....
i will check out the AutoStripe place.... BTW: me and Jag are gonna do this ourselves, always better when you do stuff yourelf insteda paying people to do it. no self satisfaction.

EDIT: i still gotta find out if this is legal w/ Black and White vinyl.
who should i call for info.?

I don't know who to call about the info., but i don't think it will cause any trouble. Ricers buy clear corners for their cars all the time (meaning they have no amber in front at all) and they don't get busted. Using foglights without fog or adverse conditions is also illegal, but you see plenty of people driving with fogs 24/7 (including me) But anyways Magilla, I have the template made for it already, so i just need the vinyl. I called GTS autotrim design on erin and they are going to phone back tomorrow with a reply.

i wanna do it, but i gotta make sure it's legal first. gonna phone around today maybe. ya, i'll help you do it up regardless if i do mine or not. but i kinda wanna wait until AFTER Christmas to do it, becuz if i get hyperwhites or xenons, why not install lights and vinyl at the same time. can you wait that long? if not, then i guess i could go eariler also, but since you arent driving in winter, who cares.....:boogie: hit me back

well i kinda want to do this sooner, because i have all my expensive bulbs and stuff hanging out of my car right now and would rather have them covered up. GTS called and they said 30 dollars for a square foot! Those guys are bastards, they wanted to charge me 100 dollars to fill the "Pontiac" on the rear bumper with red vinyl before i started my modding. Warning to everyone, never go to GTS Autotrim on Erin unless you are made of gold.

The brand, warranty, and thickness of the vinyl generally determine it's price. The color also comes into play, as some colors (chameleons, pearls, etc) are super expensive. But I agree - that's a rip off.

brand, warranty and thickness dont metter in our situation, nor color.. we just need a little bit of cheapo stuff for the amber side markers.. im not paying 30$ a sqr. foot.. F THAT :D

actually GTS told me their base price is 30 dollars, so no matter what you do it is a minnimum of 30 dollars. For example if you want them to cut little tiny pieces of vinyl to go over the red part on the lock on the inside of your door, it is 30 dollars. Insane isn't it?
