Ok, I got the front on no problem. NOw I went to set the rear in place and the styrofoam **** on the bumper sticks out of the rear holes in the andy's bumper. Do I have to remove all that styrofoam?

Yes you have to remove it. What ever you see behind the bumper once it on, just paint black.

Awesome........Do you guy put mesh in the slots at the back or just paint that underneath frame black?

Paint the visible steel black and put the mesh in. This will make it look much better when done. I also took the bulbs out of the lower reverse lights, tied the sockets and wires up away from the exhaust and out of sight.

Thanks. I had no luck yesterday installing the rear bumper though. With the fit not being that great, I ended up breaking the plastic brackey that fits on the inside of the bumper in the corner. I am just going to let the shop fit it I guess, lol. I did paint the steel though and I replaced my old bumper for now.

Yeah, I did a lot of fileing and sanding to get the rear and sides to fit right. The front wasn't nearly as bad.

I got lucky because I bought it used and the guy said he did all the work on it already. It isn't quite fitting though but no big deal, most of it's done. As far as the sides go, they are not the Andy's sides. They are the Vader sides. I haven't seen anyone with them on yet so i am kinda scared about that, lol.

i think in the 2 kits ive installed i havent had no fitment problems. one kit was on my 2000 ga and it was the @ED one and the other was the FX kit on my 1994. man andy's sounds ruff to install.

I disliked the fit so much that I decided to fill and blend all the seams where the kit meet the fenders/rockers. Looks muck cleaner because my car was de-badged and I also shaved the trunk key after it was ripped right out by some thief.

well i just installed my 3rd kit and this one happens to be also a @ed kit and i didnt have no problems. so that makes 2 *** kits on my car and one fx kit on my car so andy's must still be hell

my mechanic put on the @ed back bumper this summer, around may and I already have stress cracks at both bottom corners of the taillights, closest to the side of the car. They aren't major but my car isn't the first to have them. Big gap under the taillight too, for 800$ you would think that @ed would have corrected all the fitment problems?

no, @ed is high quality stuff. You get stress cracks in anything fiberglass. Fiberglass can warp too like just metal and anything else ..i.e plastic in heat. Hell my buddy's Carbon Fiber hatch lid that costed 1500 bucks on his nissan 240sx has bubbling spots and faded cloudy clearcoat. He bought it from a good company too. Its just the normal properties of materials to heat/expand/contract especially in hot weather.
