since this is my new grand am, there isn't anything done to the engine yet.....
ok, a few questions, lets say i order the ZEX kit.......
what else should i get to prepare the engine for this
was some one sayin plugs and wires?
approx. how much to install the N20
i dont have CAI, or Exhuast yet, would it be ok without it for now?

thanks to any replies.

I'd go with a wet kit personally.....and adding the exhaust is a must must the N20. and don't forget the thermostat and plugs

i heard wet kits are more dangerous than dry kits.... i mean dangerous as in it is more likely for you to blow up your engine with a wet kit. but thats beside the point and only a dumbass would blow up their engine on nitrous.

Also some of my friends told me that you have to get High performance pistons and bearings and rings and stuff if you run nos... is that true? i guess it would all depend on the shot you are running so lets say if i ran a 100 wet shot would i have to upgrade what i said above plus exhaust, thermo and plugs?
Thanks!

from what i have heard in the past, a bone stock grand am can handle a 75 shot just fine, and there is some one around here thats been running a 75 shot for 2 years, never a single problem-
i remember reading it but dont remember who it was, a white grand am maybe

how much is it to get that thermastat put in , looks like a pain in tha ass

I think a wet kit is safer b/c the N2O is mixed with gas before it even enters the manifold...where as a dry kit relys on the MAF to sense the N2O rushing into the manifold and compenste with more gas....to me thats putting a lot of faith on you computer.

I ran a wet kit for a year with no problems. A Transmission interceptor is a MUST. With out a boosted trans you will miss shift points hit the rev limiter....

Thermostat is a bit of a pain....it is a do-it-yourself mod though.
