I have a 98 Pontiac Grand am se. Im seeing a low coolant sensor light come on my car. I see no water leaks under my car or signs of water coming out on the cement? Whats the problem? Please help!!

Deb, this is Ridenour from AF. I posted on AF to your reply also - it sounds like the LIM leak. Search for it.

It can't be... no LIM on the 2.4.

Hey matt, I checked the coolant and it was low on coolant. I put some anti frezze on the coolant and still seeing the low coolant light.

You need to fill it to the line on your overflow tank. It could be your water pump, with that you may not see any leaks it just leaks out when the engine is running.

Ok, if the coolant is filled to the proper level in the overflow tank, then the sensor at the bottom is the tank is stuck. (not uncommon) Try lightly hitting the side of the overflow tank with a rubber mallet... if not it will need to be replaced.
