I've read and searched for this concern on the forums and have found people with the problem where the temp gauge reads 100 degrees and the car is running just fine. Everyone who has had problems lived in the snow. I checked for DTC's but there are none. Something I noticed is when I go to start the car, it cranks for 2 seconds before it will start and that's when the temp gauge reads 100. When the car starts right up, the temp gauge works fine. Has anyone experienced this before? I have a felling it is the BCM because my 03 Blazer had an excessive crank problem but the temp gauge was fine and they replaced it, but there was a code for it. Are there codes that a Tech II can pull up exclusively, because I was using a generic code scanner. Thanks for any input.
