Bay Area meet up Labor Day Weekend

Sik will be in the Bay Area during Labor Day weekend. We are thinking of having a meet up somewhere in the Bay, maybe the Saturday of that weekend. Anybody interested, please let me know!

I think it will be the 3rd of September, which is a Saturday, or the 4th. Not sure yet. Not sure where in the Bay either. Will let you guys know as soon as Sik and I figure something out.

Crap, got a ticket tonight. Getting on the freeway. Gunned it to 80 then slowed down even before I saw them. It was too late though. CHP tagged me for 15 over the limit, I'm guessing there's another $200 + traffic school. I have a clean record but I always hate to use up a traffic school on a dumb small thing like this.

I did the same thing about a year ago. Just take the online traffic school. It takes about 2 hours and is no more than 20 bucks.

How long ago was this? It is possible cause one of my friends keeps his project car (v8 Vega) at his mother in laws house in oakley and we went to work on it not too long ago and we took my car. Did it have the aftermarket tails and tint and all that good stuff? If so it probably was me cause I've never seen anyone around here with a modded GA except you, Kaytlyn and some silver SE with chrome altezzas (only saw that person once)

It's 3:30AM and I just got back to Danville. Anyways, I managed to zone out 45 minutes south of here and got pulled over for speeding. CHP gets no love from me...considering I was the only car on the 5 and I had been driving for the past 7 hours (at least that's what I told him) he didn't even sympathize. He just said, "Oh well."

There goes 3 bills...

Ouch. I guess they have nothing better to do then tag lonley drivers in the middle of the night. I'm going to fight mine and I suggest you do the same. First plead not guilty by written declairation. This is the best option because not only does the cop not get paid for writing in his side (thus incresing the possibility of him not doing it) but also if you don't like the outcome you dont have to accept it and can then choose to go to court, thus giving you ANOTHER chance for the cop to not show up.

Yeah...but you gotta remember that I live in SD and getting to court up here isn't the easiest of things to do.

Anyways, here's where I'm thinking. Heather Farms Park in Walnut Creek- exit Ygnacio Valley Road and go east. Make a left on N. San Carlos which will put you in the park. Here's where it gets sticky-

First Lot: After entering park, make a left at Heather Drive. When you see the skatepark on your left make a right at Marchbanks Drive. Pass the swim center and garden areas and the lot will be on your right hand side. (See map)

Second Lot: When entering park, stay on N. San Carlos. Follow it until you pass all the sports fields and the lot will be at the corner of the park loop, when the road starts banking left. (See map)

I'll go check them out later today.

After thinking it over and checking the place out, it's going to be really crowded this weekend and hard to find a single area to get all our cars. Plus, what were we going to do in the park since we didn't plan to BBQ or anything?

SOOO, I found a place that's easy to get to with lots of space and is close to places to eat or just cruise. The new spot is the Danville Park and Ride Lot.

Directions coming North on 680:

Exit Sycamore Valley Road and head right (east). Now the Park and Ride Lot is directly across from the exit here so you can either dash across 4 lanes to get to the left hand turn entrance, or the safer thing to do would be to go right. Make a right at the corner and the first right into the Denny's lot. Just exit the lot, go left (Camino Ramon, I think) and head directly across the intersection. I'll be in the very back.

Directions coming South on 680:

Exit Sycamore Valley Road. Make a left (east) and stay in the second to left hand lane. Make another left at the first light. The lot will be on your left side, over the overpass.


Sorry for the sudden change but it didn't really make all that much sense to go to a crowded park on a holiday weekend. I'll be there at 1PM on the dot. I'm only like 3 miles away. If you guys want we can cruise over to the park that we originally mentioned as it's about 10 miles or so from the Park and Ride Lot.

There are a million places in the area to eat, a handful of parks within 5 miles and the "downtown" part of Danville to explore if you feel inclined.

If you get lost or show up early just hit me up on the cell.
