the se has a 3.05 gear ratio, gt 3.29
drum rear brakes, RAMAIR on the GT, although it doesn't do much =/
other than that, not much difference mechanically

try a search and see what you find.

there are plenty of threads on here, as well as tons of other resources that state the differences in the trim levels.

true, but if you search on here, a thread on this subject is hard to come by.

i know but its an easy question, and its been answered, no use arguing about it any longer.

yeah, its just annoying when people just say "search" when someone might have already searched and couldnt find anything, or the question has been already answered.

i totally agree..... it takes just as much energy to answer his/her question as it does to order him/her to search.... how about answering the question then mention the search feature.... alot of newbs sign up to find the answer to a question, not knowing about the search option they immediately post a thread.... and out of ten responses, i'd bet at least five are flaming the newb about the search button..... it's ridiculous, and not at all helpful

i would agree....except this is basic search stuff...as well as forum rules do ask you to search right in the newbie/faq section

answer: the drivers of both a GT and an SE would be better off if they searched

it was answered in the first reply. and although telling him to use the search was somewhat unhelpful, this :hijacked: isnt helping either.

yes its basic but when you try to search "difference between SE and GT" i think the only word they let you use is "difference." SE and GT are too short. cold air intake is basic and you can search it, with this topic, not so much.

the gt also has dual exhaust, a different tranny, and different pcm settings.

They ARE the same. Rich was correct that they just have a different drive gear.

I remember debate about the suspension being different..... I think the only difference there is the GT's having a larger sway bar, or something to that effect.
