First off I would like to congratulate ND as they have had a much better season than anyone thought before the season started. But man, what happened last night against USC? Did the team ever show up?? That just proves that they don't deserve an at-large bid. The two at-large bids should go to USC and Iowa the two most deserving teams.

Yea USC handed it to them yesterday. I always thought that ND could survive with their defense, but hell USC score 40+ points. 103 total yards and 2 first downs are you kidding me? My hats off to USC as they proved to me how good they really are.

Scary thing for ND fans is the fact that USC was in position to score 2 more td's, but were lucky enough to pick off 2 Carson Palmer passes in the end zone.
ND was in position to have 58 points scored against their 'great' defense.

For anyone that watched the game, i thought nd's quarterback sucked. He looked like a 4th grader playing at recess. I'm sure they could have got someone else in there if his thumb was hurting that bad. I mean he kept grabbing and holding it every time before they hiked the ball.
anyways...... are iowa and usc better teams. yeah probably. But as with anything a major concern is money. how many fans will watch, or even come to see the game and stuff like that is an important part amongst bowl selection. I will be happy for nd as long as they get a Jan 1 bowl game.

Well, if you want to see ND in the BCS, you better be routing for Georgia on Saturday. If they lose, Iowa moves up to 4th and USC to 3rd in the BCS giving them automatic bids. Then you have Miami - Ohio State in the Fiesta, FSU, Arkansas, WSU (assuming they win out) & the Colorado/Oklahoma winner to round out the BCS. Leaving ND out in the cold (well, technically it's not cold at the Gator Bowl, and it is a Jan 1st Bowl :) ).
